Day 22 - for Sherpetby dreamyComment by roz: just stunning .. i'm sure shez will absolutely love it .. not only for the visual impact but that you did it as a gift for her ... the thumb really doesnt do this justice .. on opening i was amazed at the beauty ... i get a physical feeling when i look at beautiful, dramatic, gorgeous, etc images .. this really did it for me ... this is absolutely wonderful, all those different textures .. you've chosen the perfect tone and hue .. :):) |

Day 19by dreamyComment by Jutilda: I REALLY like this. The textures are divine. I'm such a huge fan of old wood and peeling paint. What if you did selective color and 'upped' the black more? Might be fun to try. I love trying diff ways to make a BW image POP. |

Day 19by dreamyComment by scwalsh: The process that i use is: make a copy of the background layer, use a gradient map (with black and the foreground color), then use the channel mixer (with monochrome checked off) to tweek the contrast on the channels.
give it a try i like the look it gives
