Thrilled to have placed 3rd. That is actually the sun coming trough a thin veil of clouds. At first I struggled
a bit with my settings, but then I found the sweet spot. Thanks again!

This is really beautiful and I did mean to come back to it for commenting after voting but forgot. I am surprised it didn't score much higher than it did.
The balance is very good and the colors are yummy. I also love the simplicity and if one looks at it from a bit of a distance it can even pass for a beautiful abstract.
