It's a nice looking shot. Composition looks good. Colors are nice. However, two things really stick out. 1-the pole coming out of his head. 2-the branch near his backside. Both are kind of distracting. Overall, nice work.

Well composed with the bird flying into the frame. Good detail on the bird as it's well focused and not blurred at all. I think the only thing that's going to hurt you is the chosen subject...there are a lot of seagull shots. Not saying that's right or wrong...just making an observation. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

obviously, the bird's in motion, but the image doesn't strike me as one that was terribly difficult to capture. aesthetically, it's nice enough, but it doesn't really move me.
