Very nice leading line with a vanishing point. I'd suggest cropping more off the top, IMO the sky is a little washed out and doesn't add to the composition.

Good use of perspective in this photo, very strong converging lines. Taking this either later or earlier in the day would of given you much more interesting light with more pleasing contrast and much better detail. Depending on the direction of the sun it probably also help with the hard shadows on the left side.

I 2nd Tom. I like the shot as well try side steping to the front of him a little more....But on this sot it a good angle... tighten the crop up a tad and it will look good. Nice job...And welcome =)

Looks like a cool statueâ€Â¦I do like the side view but maybe a tad more of the face would be betterâ€Â¦and maybe even try vertical shot due to the trees in the background make a good background but other than that they aren’t very interestingâ€Â¦more of the statue in the shot, more detail would definitely boost the shotâ€Â¦it is not a bad shot as is right nowâ€Â¦other than what I have said you might want to watch your highlightsâ€Â¦might be on the verge of blown outâ€Â¦which is very hard to fix while you are under shady treesâ€Â¦don’t think of this as a bad commentâ€Â¦I do like the shot because you are showing me something I have never seen before. So maybe next time you are out try some different angels and just experimentâ€Â¦don’t have to follow everything I said because I’m not a master by a long shotâ€Â¦and Welcome to DPCâ€Â¦your going to love it.
