Right Down the Middleby levyj413Comment by noraneko: Excellent entry, Jeffrey! I'm sorry I didn't get to this one while voting, I'm sure I would have given it a very decent score. You do the architecture thing so well... |

Going Homeby levyj413Comment by krnodil: Not a bad looking place to have to be when you're not at home! Nice mystery in the darker parts and the overall coloring has a nostalgic quality to it, although I'll admit I would prefer the backpack were not there - too distracting.
And I really like the inclusion of motion blur for the human part of this shot - for me, it emphasizes the ephemeral quality of human life just "passing through" these solid examples of classic architecture. |

Going Homeby levyj413Comment by jaysonmc: Nice lines and a terrific idea to incorporate a person to bring some interest to the photo. I really like the movement created here, it helps with the entire image. Nice lighting and post work. |

Going Homeby levyj413Comment by bmartuch: Jeffrey, this is a fantastic shot. I think the person being out of focus hurts it some. I'm not sure I would have even had a person in the shot. The composition and the colors are great. |

Going Homeby levyj413Comment by meyers: I really like the contrast of the blurred guy against the sharp hallway. The blue backpack looks a little weird, but goes well with the title. |

Cartwheel in Three Actsby levyj413Comment by krnodil: I like how you carried her tumbling movement across the frames - for the subject of cartwheels that was a very nice touch. I think sometimes with "progress"-type triptychs the framing can have the effect of periods when they should be more like commas - what you did with the framing here made them into commas (if what I just said makes any sense at all let me know!). |

Cartwheel in Three Actsby levyj413Comment by rinac: I really liked this piece, gave it an 8. Thought the image overlap was a wonderful idea for such a spirited story. Great stuff :) |
