OMG - We're going to the county fair tomorrow, mostly to see the demolition derby but I remember "runt racing" from the last fair I attended. Nice DOF and focus on the front-runner. Very fun action image. 10

Jeffrey, I drew this photo for the critique club, but it looks as if you have gotten some excellent comments already, so I'll just leave you with a sentence or two. :)

When I look at this shot, the first emotion that comes to mind is loneliness. The darkness, the shadows, the noise, etc set this up to be a very lonely feeling shot. The next emotion would have to be one of regret. It almost looks like he has done something he regrets and can't undo it, now.

Very emotive.

What interests me about your photo is that it feels like I can almost make out the subjects, but as I do I go deeper into the "hole." It is as though you are representing the very process of looking. This what I call fast food mmmmmmmm. Nice capture though in IMO I think a little bit more of the course would have been nice. Weel done and not a burger or mention of a big burger retailer anywhere.
