Far from Homeby levyj413Comment by Melethia: I'm really kinda sad I can't vote on this. This captures the intent of the challenge VERY well, and is just a bitchin'waycool picture. Definitely in the "I wish I shot this" category. |

Sonata in Blueby levyj413Comment by Patents4u: My 8-year old son and I enjoyed this shot. I asked him how he thought it was done and his initial response was that you must have taken the picture very quickly before the liquid settled/ran out...then he quickly retreated because of the difficulty of doing that with the fully inverted upper glass and I challenged him to think of different ways it could be done...he came up with paint, taping or gluing something in the glasses and a couple other pretty good ideas...and he got excited as he got more creative...Oh well, probably more than you need to know! But we did enjoy it and I think this creative shot helped my son better understand that there often are many different ways to achieve a result/solve a problem which was a fun process to witness. Thanks! |

Batter Up!by levyj413Comment by dssagent88: I really like this shot! Maybe it's because I've been playing baseball since I could walk. Thought you might enjoy this one, my newest addition to the portfolio...

Far from Homeby levyj413Comment by hihosilver: I can't stop staring at this photo as my eye wanders around to all the detail. The silhouettes and reflections are just astounding especially the reflection in the piano body. A beautiful work of art.
Edit: I had to come back and mark this a fav...I just love it! |

Become an Angel: Ride the Subway by levyj413Comment by kreshkin: Oh, cool! I've been fascinated by that underground walkway for as long as it's existed. I remember when they first opened it, they had a negative reaction to the weird music that played; people found it too disorienting. I don't know whether what they play now is much better; I fear it's spoiled "An American in Paris" for me for good.
It must have been a quiet time of day for no one to topple your tripod. On the other hand, maybe not too quiet, or someone would have wanted to officially know why you kept riding the moving walkways back and forth! ;^) |

Far from Homeby levyj413Comment by KarenNfld: Ah, is this that airport again? Love the silhouettes here although that sign is a bit distracting. Too bad you couldn't have moved it for the photo (I realize that would have been impossible). |
