Into the Nightby levyj413Comment by violinist123: A few of these type of shots in the challenge and I think they work well. IF this were a bit wider in scope, so that the transition was more gradual it would work better for me. |

Into the Nightby levyj413Comment by SaraR: Subtle but effective - the transition of the blues of the sky is very well dull and has produced a lovely richness of colour. The monument like buildings seem a little over bright. |

Into the Nightby levyj413Comment by mpeters: I like how the Washington Monument helps delineate the light and dark. My only complaint from a time lapse perspective is that the lower part of each side seem similar light intensity. The capital building to the right of the monument is darker so the time lapse is evident, just not obvious. Maybe this is Jeffrey's and you are being subtle. :)
After having this comment open on my desktop for 5 minutes I've come to this conclusion. The three main buildings appear to be about the same intensity, making the gradient in the sky hard to believe. I'd love to see a few twinkling stars to liven up the RH side. I almost deleted the comment because I am having trouble being clear and concise with my words. I'll check later to see if a DPC wordsmith gave it a better comment. :) |
