Our Spaceby dmaddenComment by jmritz: So sad and yet a beautiful photograph. I gave this an 8 because in it's innocence the picture evoked in me a feeling of grief. For me a powerful image. |

Rural by dmaddenComment by CNovack: Love the colors and the composition. For me the thing that makes this shot so compelling is the unique tree off to the side of the road. It is almost standing there like a guardian as I walk on the path that leads off to the horizon and onto another journey.....in fact reminds me a little of the Hobbit - "You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to." |

Our Spaceby dmaddenComment by dafletchr: Poor little guys and I love little pigs. It looks like they're afraid of who's next. Great shot though. |

Rural by dmaddenComment by wyverndragon: I love this shot, but I think it needs some adjustments in post to really bring it out. Looking at the tones of this image it's kind of dark on top, bright in the middle, and medium down at the bottom. I think a couple gradiated brightness adjustments could do some magic. I personally would brighten the sky, darken the bottom and probably turn the contrast up a lot around the road, and really really darken the grassy part on the left. I think that would open up the feel of the image. |
