Feeding Purple to the Sunby DJLubaComment by Curious: Awesome. This is beautiful. The composition is daring and striking. The depth of field is superb. The colour and lighting are gorgeous. You've enhanced the subject to the extreme. To me this is a winner. |

The Processionby DJLubaComment by Maverick: Very good journalistic shot. Somehow doesn't quite convey the emotion of the ceremony, but I'm not sure if you were going for that - might be more interesting to show a slightly more angled view (from the back to signify more of a departure, or from the front to show the officers' faces and give a more personal view). |

The Processionby DJLubaComment by wwwavenger: Very nice crop. Could have benefitted from a tighter DOF though, the people in the foreground don't stand out very well. |

Black & White on Colorby DJLubaComment by Neuferland: This is a wonderful shot, very classic, clean and nicely done. The lighting is nice except for the shadows around her neckline and upper arm on the right. The hair on her face is also a bit of a no-no in the studio sense. The soft focus works well with this shot. A 7 |

Black & White on Colorby DJLubaComment by David.C: Lighting: The lighting is a bit harsh, and it shows in the heavy contrasts (especially in the skin tones).
Pose: Pose is good, but the expression is not working with it for me. I would not have cut her right hand off with the crop.
Background: is clutttered. |

Black & White on Colorby DJLubaComment by C_Steve_G: Shape on upper left could have been removed, and there's something about the placement of the edge of the wall that shows at the upper right of her head. I would have tried to shoot from a slightly different angle or cloned or blended it during post procesing, to achieve the studio effect.
Otherwise, I really like the picture and the "soft" effect. The model is good-looking, too! |

Black & White on Colorby DJLubaComment by TooCool: This looks like it could be a clothing ad. Nicely composed. The only thing that detracts in my mind is that either your is a touch harsh for the soft focus or the focus is a touch soft for the lighting.
