Just thinking outside the box here but you might want to try to put like 3 of the same color bear standing and the one laying down mabey a different color. This will make more like a story behind it. However like I said I am just thinking outside the box. This theory might not work as well as I am thinking.

I think your lighting and setup are a bit off. Try to watch out for glare from windows and other light sources. Try to get it to work for you instead of against you.
