Walking the dogby Photon-painterComment by taterbug: A neat shot. Good subject and I like the point of view from above. I think a little punch in the contrast could strengthen the image some. Increasing the tonal depth, it feels a little flat as is. |

Hi Kristin! You are possibly right on both counts. I had my 300mm zoom almost wide open and did use a bit of sharpening (2 stops in DPP/RAW). As for the rule of thirds, I thought that the mass of water was already overwhelming and this would be even more so, placing the ducks in the lower third.... maybe that may have been the way to go... I'll try to re-crop and see how it looks! Helpful comments. Thanks! |
