I'm distracted by whatever the light source is. It looks to be a low single source whereas my mind expects a hallway light through a cracked door which would go higher.

Basically.. your light source bugs me. Nice idea though, heh.

8: This shot actually tells a story which is always nice in a photo: the early morning alarm has gone so the person in bed can go to practice before work - the alarm is knocked off as they are tired and just want that extra minute in bed. The shoes in the foreground mean we are not seeing just a photo of an alarm clock and the lighting is not boring so we have interest there
