Day 4 - Hummingbird Buttby BeckyTComment by hahn23: Probably a rufous hb, male. It would take direct sunlight reflecting off the gorget to make it display full colors. Good detail. They flare their tail feathers like that when buzzed by competitors. He was defending his perch. |

Day 4 - Hummingbird Buttby BeckyTComment by MaryO: I love Hummers! Don't usually get to see them from this angle. I might play with toning down the brightness and saturation; the background is a bit overwhelming to my eye. But I love the pose :-) |
