Go #6 Goby pgirish007Comment by Skip: this image has a lot going for it, except for one simple, crucial thing...the subject's face.
i'm going to hold that against you. because. obviously, you have the equipment and the ability to use it. and this isn't a typical, adult-eye-level perspective. so, out of all the opportunities that had to present themselves to you on that beautiful afternoon, were you not able to get one of someone bringing the ball at you? of course, i know all this sounds harsh, but, after all, this is dpc and most voters aren't going to tell you why they vote they way they do. now, it's not that i'm voting it low - no, not all all. i'm just not giving it the highest marks. all that being said, keep on clicking. hope you're having fun with it! |

Free Fallin'by pgirish007Comment by streetpigeon: A nice waterfall image. What I especially appreciate is the generous foreground that allows the story freedom to develop. It's one thing to fall; it's important, too, to understand what's downriver. The focus, here, on the rock and beautiful leaves affords reassurance and hope. |

Peace, Love, Light and colorby pgirish007Comment by streetpigeon: Is quiet the same as calm? Maybe not, hence my mixed feelings here, not calming but still. And is still the same as quiet? Better get off this train. In any case, I like the image. The geometry is appealing, as is the contrasting black and yellow -- which, being the warning colors of bees, is not entirely comforting. Interesting. |
