Obliviousby dizneewenchComment by moniepenny: I like this tilted composition, it adds tension to the scene. I also like that you've encorporated too superstitions into this at once. I do think though that this is not nearly as sharp as it should be, so that could be something you work on. Since you clearly have good ideas, paying a little more attention to the technical aspect will make your work stand out from the rest. |

He is framed perfectly between the wall and ladder, good job. But I don't know why you've included the broken mirror which doesn't seem to have anything to do with the story you've told in the right side of the picture. |

Obliviousby dizneewenchComment by glad2badad: Don't you have to be the one that actually breaks the mirror to have bad luck? :^) The guy walking is a ways off yet. I think more impact would be had to have staged him a bit closer like his next step or two was going to make him run into the mirror and ladder.
As for the image, the B/W theme is good. The tonal range is flat. I think some work on contrast and levels may help this image some. JMO of course.
