Lily of the nightby RefractedComment by inspzil: The glare kinda ruins it for me. Its not that it isn't natural or anything, but it sure makes it seem a lot less natural with that. Aside from that its a very nice shot. |

Hey, look at me!by RefractedComment by BeingClever: You know there are a lot of bird "head shots" in this challenge and they all seem to be facing to the left. Whats with that? Totally has nothing to do with how I'm judging your photo, I just thought it was funny and wanted to remark upon it as I thought you would appreciate the humour of it, given your picture. I'm rambling, as a side note I like this photo, the beak is perfect *wink* |

Lily of the nightby RefractedComment by Swashbuckler: Good exposure of this lilly (white is hard, harder in B&W). The pestal and stamen show up much better at this angle than the other \"similar\" shot (this one is MUCH better. Comment removed, my bad). 8 Rob the Swash |

Lily of the nightby RefractedComment by BigSmiles: I love the idea and it's a very good attempt. I just find that there's not enough range in tones in this image. I would have liked to see darker tones on the inside of the lily fading to lighter tones at the tips or vice versa.. it would help give some dimension to this flower. 6 |

Lily of the nightby RefractedComment by dsidwell: Lovely night blossom. You really have captured its essence as a night-blooming flower, at least that's what the title and image tell me. The lighting may be a bit bright and harsh, taking away from the delicacy of the bloom, but this is a wonderful image. |
