Lone Travellerby SharQComment by lizardbeth: I wish I could see him one more time back up the road a ways. Maybe sitting down would have been neat. Good job though. Love the colors and the sky. |

Lone Travellerby SharQComment by mariomel: Very nice image, but I think this does not meet the criteria for a diptych. Very well done, nonetheless. |

Lone Travellerby SharQComment by carolee: This photo really stuck with me after viewing the others. There's something very unusual about the way that it clearly shows time passing while the landscape remains static. I like! :) |

Lone Travellerby SharQComment by jmsetzler: I understand your dual image concept here, but this doesn't seem to fit the di/triptych theme for me... - setzler |

Lone Travellerby SharQComment by lionelm: I guess you're going to read that a lot .. nice work but does not meet the challenge to me. "... diptych or a triptych ..... ". |

Weather: Summer in Saharaby SharQComment by jmsetzler: Greetings from the Critique Club :)
Hi SharQ...
This is an excellent photo... The barren landscape with the tire tracks through the sand create a nice rhythmic flow from left to right in the image. The texture in the sand also adds some nice minor contrast. The clouds in this photo really seem to set it off for me. Compositionally, the only thing that I think could make this image stronger would be to include more of the sky in a larger frame. Maybe a portrait orientation with the same amount of 'land' and two or three times as much sky would create even more impact. The clouds are wonderful here and more of that would be good as well.
Have you experimented with this as a black and white yet? If you do, I would love to see the result of that as well...
Great work :)
