The thumbnail looked so promising but I was dissapointed to see the lack of focus on the head, it kindof is the breaking point of this shot but other than that, great. Good colors, composition and moment.

Nice photo, love the simple color contrasts in it and DOF, nice work. Am not 100% fond of the composition, think I would have liked it better if the main petal or whatever it is were composed more to the rule of thirds and then down in the left corner. Anyway, nice work and one I would give a 7 in a challenge, I really like it.

I think you used narrow DOF to focus on the letter, but the pen is distracting me. I think if it had been in focus, it wouldn't do that. Go figger.

As for the paper itself, it's not quite bright enough. I get the impression of someone writing this in a very dim room.

Actually, this shows a beautiful piece of stationery, that is undoubtedly tied to an unfortunate event. the photo itself isn't the clearest, but it clearly conveys a message.

It's one of those compositions that I think would have done well being absolutely centered. Just needed a touch less light and tiny bit more contrast. Good luck in the challenge! :)
