Splashing around.jpgby jusdino4itComment by SJCarter: Interesting composition - I like the expression you captured. And while having some motion blur can be very effective and visually appealing, it usually helps to have something in pretty sharp focus too. The focus is a bit soft here. |

The Three Stooges.jpgby jusdino4itComment by SJCarter: Nice composition. The lighting is a bit harsh here, causing everything to look washed out again. You could help minimize that by some levels/curves adjustment, color sat, and/or contrast. Very appealing shot. |

PSSSSTTTT.jpgby jusdino4itComment by SJCarter: I agree with what both sherpet & talikf said about the background. Great capture of expression though and I like the POV. |

cheder.jpgby jusdino4itComment by SJCarter: What a happy looking pup. Again I'd crop more off the right to get her face out of the dead center - it would also help remove some of the blown highlights in her coat. Cute expression. |

Letting it hang loose.jpgby jusdino4itComment by SJCarter: Nice stop action shot. I like the head-on approach, but would probably prefer to see the pup moved from the dead center. Maybe try the rule of thirds for subject placement. A little dodging/burning and some levels/curves adjustment would also really make this pop. |

Licking the Chops.jpgby jusdino4itComment by SJCarter: Another nice capture. The lighting was much kinder here. You must have a thing for tongues... They make for interesting animal compositions. ;-) |

Unlikly friends.jpgby jusdino4itComment by SJCarter: HA! That's pretty funny. Great capture - good eye for spotting it. Certainly gives the viewer a grand sense of scale/perspective. Nice grab. |

Cleanched thirst.jpgby jusdino4itComment by SJCarter: Focus is a bit soft, but I like the close-up composition. Looks like a number of your shots were taken in the midday sun too - You might try a little later in the afternoon/early evening or early morning to get kinder light. |
