Day 7by aliquiComment by carofo: It's perfect just the way it is. Pastel colors tend to look soft, no matter what. You'd better judge sharpness by looking at the edges of the petals instead of looking at the whole thing. The droplets are a nice touch. |

Day 8by aliquiComment by carofo: I agree with the comparison with Kermit's fur!! :) The blown tip does not bother me at all. Love the twirl on the petals. |

Day 8by aliquiComment by MaryO: I can still see the texture on the bottom of the open bud; it's very cool. If you have time you could try cloning some texture onto the blown bits. Side challenges are for processing experiments ;-) |

Day 8by aliquiComment by drydoc: Very neat. Agree with toning down the background. Your eye wants to cheat and try to make out what's back there. |

Day 8by aliquiComment by fantomfoto: I really like this one! Only suggestion is to tone down the background a little to make the flower stand out more. Great composition - love the energy of this one. |

Day 7by aliquiComment by quiche: Nope, don't sharpen more. You're just starting to get an oversharpened edge on the rightmost blossom where it's close to the right edge of the frame. Any more, and that area would look oddly overdone. It's a very nice photo just as you have it here. |
