Good subject. The post processing really distracts - the black area around the bottom looks splotchy and there is this twirly thing to the right and center of the boot.

Really like this shot, though it kind of made me laugh. I once did a shot with only one shoe in it, and had comments about wishing both shoes had been in the shot (I only HAD the one shoe!) Anyway - now I know what they were talking about. I really would like to see both boots! I love the way this was done - lighting is great and the composition works well for me, but it just doesn't seem natural to be only seeing 1 boot!
