I like the perspective and leading line in this image. Seems like a great place to shoot. There is a bit too much contrast between the dark area all around and the white light at the end; would like to see more detail in between. Interesting and emotive capture.

At last, a different seagull picture. I've never seen one with the wings in that position, and that piece of bread (?) looks like he's smoking a cigarette -- a really gritty, urban bird. And he's losing a feather... That light pole bothered me at first, but it's part of the urban scene. I would try and crop/clone out that partial thingy in the lower left. This picture grows on you.
