I think it is a very nice shot. As I look through the shots from the competition I see that most competitors construed the competition in two ways 1) high contrast = B&W, and 2) More is better. My guess is that this would rate between 5.6 and 6.2 in a "distant houses" competition, especially if a bit of unsharp masking sufficed to bring it into the normal bounds of DPC tastes of sharpness. Keep on entering.

I really like this shot..thought it one of the better ones in the challenge..the ordinary made interesting...very strong.
