The composition is great, the rows of tulips leads the viewer to the horizon. All of the colors are fantastic; the greens are rich, the yellows and reds of the tulips are brilliant, the balloons are brilliant and compliment the flowers, and the blue tones of the sky are great with just enough clouds to add character to the sky. I like this image because everything is sharp/focused and the colors are so vibrant. There is a lot of visual interest in this image that I think compliment each other. I compliment you on your keen eye for composition, and I'm sure making the effort to be at the right place and right time to capture this image. This is one of my favorites of this challenge. 10

wow ! William , how did this end up here ? I can't be that far wrong (9 from me). This is brilliant and deserves a much higher placing. I guess that is not too may DPC voters that truly appreciate killer macros like this.

the saturation of the gold in the trees on the right is a little much for me since the rest of the shot is so blue but great job none-the-less
