I have always loved sunflowers with a dark blue. Pillows, napkins, etc... I just always have admired it. And you have placed this wonderful combination in a photo. Also, the great color combination is enhanced by great focus and composition. The border is a nice touch - I feel like the color really works.

Nice, delicate composition. I think the small buds work well against the texture of the clouds, especially the out of focus ones in forground, but I am distracted by a large angular shadow cutting off the lower left corner. Some post work that adjusts the colour and brightness of the sky might enhance as well. Overall quite pretty.
