Pearls before trollsby snafflesComment by spiritodifirey: The pearls coming through the heart is very strong, it immedeantly draws the eyes. The ring off to the side also adds a nice touch. But the background shouldn't be white as it takes away from the photo. A darker color would have made the object pop. |

Golden light and a magic saddleby snafflesComment by posthumous: I can't believe this scored under 5. I admit I'm not crazy about shots of things, but as thing-shots go, this is a good one. The composition has some energy, one can imagine the horse actually running into the frame. The lighting is warm and three-dimensional. There is a glow of child-worship about it.
Uh-oh, I just convinced myself that I underrated this picture, too. |

Pearls before trollsby snafflesComment by Moose408: Nice color and lighting. Don't like the broach(??) in the lower left corner. The container is confusing to my eye. I spent more time looking at it than the pearls. |

Pearls before trollsby snafflesComment by dtremain: Arrrgh! Looks like a 3 to me. Oh, wait, that's what the trolls say about my shots! The only two comments I'd made about this very nice shot is the hot spots on the top of the heart, and the glass holder does not seem to be quite straight. Your placement of the pearls and pendant is very nice, and the luster on the pearls is captured nicely. I love your title! 7 |

Golden light and a magic saddleby snafflesComment by jjsmom: I love the way you used the colors; even though they are fairly close to each other on the color spectrum they each stand out without one overtaking over the other. |
