	Mum's pancakes, served hot with butter and maple syrup by snaffles Comment by EL-ROI: I think the color is somewhat off here. The light is really yellow making the pancakes look a little unappetizing. Also the light should be uch more diffuse. Here you have a lot of specular highlights. Lastly you got a little too close as the shape of the heart is lost.

If I had to nit-pick I would say get rid of the guy on the right (as he does not add too much). Unless you were looking for that same kind of head pose that both seem to mimic. Wonderful contrasts, I would have thought this would have done much better.

	Dining convenience by snaffles Comment by blindjustice: I liked this a great deal, the emptiness, the feeling we all know of being in a convenience store that should be mobbed but its strangely empty. Photographically, the contrast, the floor pattern, it's quite interesting.
