I have been looking around in your portfolio, and find that you have a unique way of seeing things, and that you like macro a lot. This shot is very nice with the choice of background. You seem to have learned to pay attention to the background in your shots, as it was distracting in a lot of your earlier images. It's getting much better as you grow with your camera hobby. This shot is an excellent study in texture and color, and composition.

Awesome... you've captured the perfect creepy night-time feel here. Reading through the other coments... IMO, it is NOT too dark! ;) If anything, I would have actually made the subject slightly darker, so he and the chair don't pop out quite so much. More subtle that way. Very neat shot, and very neat idea!
