The colours are beautiful, I like the square (or almost square) crop, and it's quite interesting to have all those stripes there. I am not so sure if the selectively soft focus works in this instance, but I'm having trouble figuring out why. Hmmmm. Maybe it's because of the bubbles and other distortions, they make the whole thing look slightly messy, and my eyes are having trouble figuring out what to look at. I don't know. This lamp is worth many more experiments.

Love the sharp edge contrasted to the out of focus other part. The choice of orange on red is quite gutsy.

Very "abstract".

Great colours! Again I would have to say this would look better with a slightly more of the lamp in focus, as it is with just the first few parts in focus the viewer isn't led into the shot my eye kind of stops once the pictures gets out of focus...just my opinion :o)

You are excellent as this self portrait stuff! I really like your pose,position in the frame, choice of background and editing on this shot. They all come together nicely here to create a pleasing to the eye image :o)

Well this one really made me chuckle!! What a great idea, good use of negative space and the thumb is lit nicely :o) I have to agree some calibration maybe needed on your husbands computer as the background is not completely black but excellent attempt :o)
