i'm not sure how much softness you intended as i know many people add it so i'm not going to comment on that. i think the cropping is a bit odd. my eyes want to go straight to the nose piercing and then just wander around. i think the rule of thirds would suit this better with the piercing pushed up and right and if possible adding some image at the bottom. if this hasn't been cropped then i suggest stepping back a little and include more in the image so you can expirement with different crops.
