Equine Eyesby signal2noiseComment by choltmeier: Great concept! I love the close crop and repeating elements. The bridal is a nice framing element that leads you into the frame. Neither eye looks quite sharp... it might be but I don't perceive it that way. Great shot! |

Teresaby signal2noiseComment by KaDi: I feel a bit of disconnect with the subject. And, though that may be intended, I don't feel that the rest of the set-up supports a wispy, sultry mood. I think if perhaps the background were set back a bit further and were less in focus that the crisp lines of the gown would contrast nicely with the softer feel. The lighting, too, could be tamed a bit to bring out the mood of your subject. For a more classic feel I think a different choice of seating might serve better. This bead board box has such a cabin/rustic feel to it that it seems incongruous with your elegant woman. I could be really picky and ding you on the light spot in the lower left hand corner...but I'm sure you noticed that. :)
Hope this was the type of feed back you were hoping for when you posted it. I'll look forward to seeing more of this type of work from you. |

Equine Eyesby signal2noiseComment by boyd2000: Good composition, but I'd like to see the eyes in focus rather than the bridle, since the eyes are the subject. |

Teresaby signal2noiseComment by cgino: This is gorgeous! Looks like a portrait of a 1940's movie star, just fantastic. I have to agree with the others that I would like to see a bit more color in parts of the skin, but it is still lovely as is :-) |

Equine Eyesby signal2noiseComment by Moose408: Nice composition but doesn't make me feel anything. I'm thinking it's perhaps because neither eye is in focus. |

Hobbes - with adults presentby signal2noiseComment by mgsmith53: Tommy - I still dig this shot. My son, now all grown up, and I spent lots of funny times when he was little, learning to appreciate such a warped sense of humor. Good quality, nice idea. Wish it had scored higher for you, it's still cool. |
