Petro-Chemby signal2noiseComment by bassbone: nice perspective shot - i especially like how you showed real colors of chemicals rather than colored water. |

Petro-Chemby signal2noiseComment by gwe21: it might just be me... but it seems like it is slightly tilted. or could be the angle of the mans shoulders making it look tilted. |

The Doll - Before & Afterby signal2noiseComment by TCGuru: I would like to see more of a plastic look on the finished version as well. Especially if you are going to call her a doll. A doll, by association, is flawless in the skin, eyes, and lips because they are painted. Your edit is good, but I think with your skill level, you could have made it awesome. |

The Doll - Before & Afterby signal2noiseComment by see: First, I went into your portfolio, to look at this young ladies photo shoot, you did a fantastic job of capturing her personality.. On this take I like your overall concept, but looking at this outside of challenge rules you might look at a couple of issues. Unlike some of the comments about the stray hair I kinda like it, it adds a nice curve that in my opinion adds personality. The nose ring on the other hand âto meâ just does not fit the âchina dollâ theme I think you are going for. The other thing that I noticed was on the original shot the shadows on the sides of her mouth look normal, but on the porcelain skin and red lips of your end result, it almost looks like she might have had chocolate cake for a snack and missed a spot or two.
Anyway take my thoughts with a huge grain of salt, I usually fail to accomplish critical acclaim on my own lackluster attempts at art. |
