I agree with Karen that the leading lines are fabulous. Almost an impossible shot to meter with that overcast sky - but luckily you can fix the underexposed foreground in PP! I look forward to seeing this - think it would be lovely HDR as well. You could make the cherry (apple?) blossoms really pop on those trees.

I'll comment on this one since sharpening is allowed in minimal editing challenges. I really like the leading lines of the planted field - strawberries, maybe? And the pink of the trees beyond - very nice! This would be an excellent candidate (I think) for a light bit of tonemapping and a bit of contrast. A very pretty shot!

Anywayz, those white trees look like cloud puffs and the rows of weed plastic make lovely lines directing the eye. Hills in the background give the horizon a very interesting look as well :)

well .. its amazing wot a bit of sharpening does ... for a start it makes it sharper !!!!!!!!! .. but it also gives the image depth and more contrast as well ... thanks roger for putting both the sharpened and unsharpened versions in to compare ..
