Actually it's probably that shadow highlight tool that jacked up the sky. This is a very cool b/w, lots of nice tonal play.

Great subject for a bw shot. I think if you cropped this soonly the tubes were in frame, it would look even better. The dark undefined bit below doesn't really add to the shot, it just pulls the eye away from those beatiful gradients on the pipes.

Nice candid, but sort of lacks excitement - no real sense of where he's coming from or going to. He's just there in mid step. Nice processing through, and good contrast throughout.

A nice scene and I like your composition - but this has the look of that gross processing used by some members of this site. I don't even know what it is, maybe some sort of large radius USM or something. Anyway, I can't stand that look, butI like this scene otherwise. I like the blur on the people too, gives it a bit of life and reinforces the sense of the kid wandering off from the dad.

Nice scene and I like how the foreground frames the shot. Overall it's pretty dark though and I'm thinking a narrower aperture (f11 or higher) might get those mountains or whatever is on the horizon to stand out with more detail.
