I'm not happy with the sky in this. Not sure why it turned out to have all the little marks in it. I tried Noise Ninja, but it didn't remove them. Shot it with the Samsung which may be the reason.

Channel Mixer for B&W conversion
Noise Ninja
Gausian Blur applied to water and sky

Nice perspective! This is a really neat landscape shot, the sky is a little distracting but sometimes mothernature just doesn't want to give you the perfect thing.

Actually it's probably that shadow highlight tool that jacked up the sky. This is a very cool b/w, lots of nice tonal play.

Beautiful shot, Roger ... love the composition, lighting and tones. The sky was one of the things that drew me into the image, both in the distance and reflected in the water ... didn't know I wasn't supposed to like it until I read the image details!

Sometimes shadow/highlights does some weird stuff for me. That could what caused your clouds to freak out. But besides the clouds you have great silhouettes of the trees which surrownd the water and the reflections. Like the vanishing point.
