Dear Creek Muralby cogeroxComment by MelonMusketeer: Originally posted by Veiolets: I think this is one that would really work well at a large size. Some of the nice details upstream are lost at this size. |
I agree. Excellent location, and you did a fine job of capture and processing. |

Ground Fog Diptychby cogeroxComment by cogerox: Ok, the problem is that I didn't actually shoot the sun in either picture - just to either side, so blending into a panorama doesn't really work. I guess I could try making something up in ps that will fit. I could clone in the center strip and see what that looks like. Thanks for your honesty about this attempt. I appreciate your comments. It's all trial and error for me. |

Ground Fog Diptychby cogeroxComment by tnun: Very fine. Did find the centre line intriguing at first (suggestive of sun's path or that stripe you get on your lcd aiming at a light source); mostly agree with sfalicehere; but you might play with colouring the two divisi strips to blend the sun's slightly different hues. Not getting too much of the foreground on my monitor or at this size, but the balance and composition work very nicely indeed. |

Dear Creek Muralby cogeroxComment by hajeka: You did a lot of work for this with a great result. Too bad screens are so small. Perhaps you could crop a little from the (less interesting) right side (but keep the feeder creek). |
