Xai 5by breadfan35Comment by Melethia: You have some wonderful color portraits of this young man, very rich, very well done, but this one is particularly delightful because of the warmth of personality. Great smile, love the rumpled shirt. |

Child's Playby breadfan35Comment by Melethia: Oh my! How freakin' delightful is this! I certainly hope you printed this up for his parents. Shouldn't be something that sits idly in a DPC portfolio. |

The Performerby breadfan35Comment by Melethia: I, for one, really like your style. It may not score well, but it's very good. This is an excellent example - this is a fine "in the moment" capture with a great deal of life to it. It's well composed, well exposed, and has just the right touch of post processing - at least in my uneducated opinion. Yet for DPC, it's not "flashy" enough - and I certainly wouldn't want it any flashier. It has DPC-technical-flaws - blown highlights, cutoff head, cutoff arms - all of which, in my opinion, serve the composition well. So do what you do - there are some of us out here who really appreciate it. And I'm betting your friend liked this, too - did he put it up on his myspace page? |

The Performerby breadfan35Comment by HeiSch: A couple of randowm thoughts as a reaction to your picture: the lighting is too harsh and blows out section of his face and shirt. THe light also is the reason for motion blur of the singer, while the mike is sharp and crisp. distracting background, eyes are closed |

The Performerby breadfan35Comment by KarenNfld: Interesting. I wish the person were as sharp as the microphone is. Not sure I like the cut off head or the yellow-green tint to the photo. But I like his pose, you can tell he's really into the music. |

The Performerby breadfan35Comment by notesinstones: Interesting use of a cross-processing style. You don't see it much around these parts. Gives an interesting feel to the photo. Good job. |
