	Surrounded by shadows by Ragga2000 Comment by e301: Interesting, arresting image; the sudden shift into sharpness grabs at the eye, and that sharpness itself is very well handled. Can't imagine that you'll hit the old challenge nail very squarely on the head though, but not a bad image at all.

I believe for you it did, so I split the 6 for not meeting the challenge for me, with a 10 for meeting it for you. 8. Okay that I really like the shot. You did a great job.

	Surrounded by shadows by Ragga2000 Comment by melismatica: I'm not getting a sense of the shadows that are supposedly surrounding this child. Does the title refer to the shaded woods? It is a nice portrait but shadows aren't the main visual impact. The connection to the challenge is pretty tenuous, IMO.
