OOF - either use auto focus and make sure you're at the proper distance, or work on your manual focusing if that is what you tried here.

background is too distracting (trees and the playground)
lighting is terrible (blown highlights on his face and shirt and outstretched arm)
clump of garbage at base of the playground
shorts are completely blown out
