Cute portrait, The woman seems the subject, though, not the cat. I personally don't consider domesticated animals to be fauna, but that a matter of interpretation, I suppose. I did vote according to the quality of the image, however.

Nice shot.

Your subjects look a little out of focus tho. Maybe the focus is good, but my attention is drawn to the background instead of your subjects. Since the viewer's eyes are drawn to the most lit areas, your intended subject (the people) don't become the main focus.

Of course, if that was your intent (have the backgroud brighter than your subject), then please disregard.
