I like this picture Ian.
I think it is easy to see what you were looking at from your
point of view.
But I would look carefully at your comments and grow from them, as they are all good comments and you may take on board what they say.
I also think a tighter angle of the train coming towards the Foot Bridge would have been the best shot.
Saying that, If thats what you had entered, then your critics would have been saying. I would have liked to have seen more of the Station !

At least it got you out of your seat.

The areas of desaturation seem completely arbitrary - some yellows, some reds, iwthout any particular connection between those elements, or indeed anything to really point them up in the scene. The composition is perhaps what lets this down though - it's diofficult to see what you intended as your subject - the approaching train, the network of lines and wires, the bridges? None of those seem as weighty in frame as the open space of the platform, which is however lacking in any real visual interest.
