What I like: The compositoin and lines travelling across the image are pleasing.

What I didn't like: overall image quality seems fairly low. Did you consider B&W?

For being the main focus of the composition, the corner should be in better focus. It would have been nice to see something written in the ledger as well.

2 - Not sure if you were going for an abstract type image here, if so, potential is there. I think more definition, stronger lighting and a variation in the background/base color (as is detracts from the subject), may have made this better in my opinion. The 'frame' itself, also not as strong as I'd like to have seen for this Challenge.
