Lunada Bayby daysezComment by Azrifel: The human element and the golden touch of the sun on the grass in the foreground, combined with the yellow and purplegrey of the clouds and the reflection in the water makes this a classic beauty. I don't know if they posed for this, but it is a good one. :)
I don't think that the white of the border was the right choice, but I don't look at frames anyway so that doesn't affect the score.

Lunada Bayby daysezComment by myqyl: Everything a landscape should be! Wonderful! Did you hang out there a few minutes and see what colors the sky turned after it sunk a little lower? Looks like you are about an hour early of the 'official' sunset. Congratulations... Awesome shot! |

Lunada Bayby daysezComment by jmsetzler: This is simply phenomenal... The composition and exposure is perfect... the silhouetted people really make this image pop. THAT is what i consider a 'single' element of a landscape photo that gives the eye a great place to come to rest... excellent work - tied for best of show for me with one other image :) = 10 - setzler |

Lunada Bayby daysezComment by joanns: Well, I can't tell if that's a dad and child or a couple so I can't comment about this being great for one of those romance cards :) A very, very beautiful photograph. |

Cat in the Land of Miceby daysezComment by BAMartin: Critique Club Critique
(1) COMPOSITION (CONTENT) Well composed. The use of three objects (the OTHER rule of thirds) works very well here. The photograph is very well balanced.
(2) BACKGROUND The shadows from the flash (just an assumption) on the background do give this photograph a true 3 dimentional feeling.
(3) CAMERA WORK ,TECHNICAL Overall the exposure is good, but the darkness on the left is a little distracting. The colors are strong and vibrant. Composition is very pleasing to the eye.
(4) DIGITAL PROCESSING ,TECHNICAL I find that there is nothing I can add to this. The primary colors are bright and clear, the whites are really white and the blacks are black.
(5)MEETING THE CHALLENGE This photo does a very good job of meeting the challenge. This would also have worked well in the humor challenge.
(6) MY OPINION ON THE PHOTO A very good still life picture. I would love to see this hanging in a childs room. The strong colors really make this photograph. |
