Michigan Aveby meyersComment by Melethia: The neat thing about B&W is it often distills a shot down to it's basic elements. I think it works very well in this shot. I like the casual day atmosphere - people just out enjoying the day. |

Compositionally, I suggest cropping the top to the middle of the yellow section. The rest of what's above that doesn't add anything. When you resize, too, that'd make the flowers bigger. |

1) Can you rescue them?
2) How would it look if you really blew it out? I'm thinking of a shot like this one, where it's almost pure black and white and makes interesting shapes:
