You can't have your cake and eat it tooby meyersComment by JuliBoc: It does have a lot of distractions and is a little OOF, but what a moment you captured! Makes me envision what the next photo would be -- him crying and the lady behind him bent over picking up the mess. |

Lifeguardby meyersComment by Melethia: She was at an anime convention? Oh my! Who knew girl geeks were so gorgeous these days!! Great shot, by the way. I quite like it just the way it is, so your meager skills worked out fine. |

Lifeguardby meyersComment by levyj413: Rob, I think this composition is really strong and your focus is dead on. Her pose is sexy but also strong, and the background is nicely blurred. Frankly, I'm surprised at the score.
I think the lighting hurt you, esp. the blown areas along her back. Were they blown in the original?
Have you learned how to adjust light using soft light layers? Check out Idnic's tutorial and give this another shot. I think you could darken the background and lighten her face and really improve things. |

Watery Perspectivesby meyersComment by levyj413: As other TSers have said, I like the abstract quality. I also really like the colors. Have you tried blurring it more to see whether you like it? Message edited by author 2007-06-19 00:37:07. |
