The lighting is great for this image. The tilt gives it a dynamic feel that would have been lost had it been straight. My only suggestion is regarding the crop. It's a bit too tight on the left hand side.

This is a great first try at macro photography. Lighting is key to getting a great image. The spider seems a bit soft but you'll learn to control the focusing as you move along.

Check out the works of others and you'll learn from their techniques. I have som in my portfolio as well ;)

Really like the color contrast in this photo. That red really pops out! Nice little bit of reflection in the water as well. Only suggestion would be to try to brighten up the right side of the bridge (just my humble opinion!)

Love this shot. I really like how the light through the water highlights the shark on the left. Wish it was a little brighter in the bottom right corner, but considering you did this at an aquarium - very well done! I want to go to this aquarium so bad...we are only like a 6hr drive from Atlanta so hoping to make it this summer!

Nice detail on the elephant and I like his pose. I'd suggest cropping more off the left though - to lose the odd color shadow (at first I thought it was part of another elephant). Looks like y'all had fun. :-)

I gave this one an 8. The silhouette gainst the silky blue background is a nice touch. I wish it was a tad sharper but aside from that, it finished pretty well in this challenge ;)

Nice, the colors really make this shot work. Maybe try and open the aperature on the 50mm to get rid of the vignetting on the shot.
