I'm revealing my age, but original hippies didn't wear Birkenstocks. They usually wore Indian sandals or huaraches with rubber tire soles, usually bought on a pot run to Mexico in a VW camper. Jutilda is right, they didn't use toenail polish or shave their legs either.

OK. Having set you straight, 8), this is a cute picture which obviously rings a bell with a lot of people. I don't usually like pictures that are framed at angles, but in this case, it fits perfectly with the spirit in which the picture was shot.

P.S. Contratulations on the hemstitching. It looks really good on the outside. I'll have to try that myself. LOL
