This is a nice little portrait. The main thing that I don't like is the fact that her head is down which emphasises a slight double chin. If she had of been looking up a bit it would of worked a lot better. The other thing that would improve it would be just to adjust the contrast a little to make it pop out a bit. If you're using Photoshop you could use an adjustment layer with levels just to help that a bit and still be within the basic rules. Well done.

It's ridiculous, but somehow the colours here are just too bright and vibrant to convey the desperation that I associate with that line of the song.
