What do you mean I trimed it too close?by Elvis_LComment by roz: funny as !!! ... i'm seriously hoping that you didnt go ahead and shave off the rest immediately .. i'd be hoping that you walked around for at least a day, IN PUBLIC, with your face like this .. :):)... just for something completely different .. !! |

Day 14:bankby Elvis_LComment by roz: i'm back to this one after looking at some of your excellent images in the b&w challenge .. i find this one a bit dark and gloomy, i'm thinking that if you lightened this image and added more contrast and maybe lightened the vignette so that is was more of a suggestion, then i would like this one more ... its a great shot of the building .. it really shows its massiveness .. and the perspective gives a feeling of great height .. once again .. i'd like to know your lens etc .. :):) |

Day 2: how the mighty have fallenby Elvis_LComment by roz: another excellent image and so different to your 'storm is brewing' .. for starters i love your title .. those clouds just lead you right into this image along with those branches .. i'd be inclined to add more contrast by dodging those clouds and maybe a bit of the branches .. but thats only my opinion .. i'd really like to know your processing and the lens you used .. like we're really trying to learn here and that sort of info is vital .. just looking at an image is only part of the story .. :):):) |

Day 13:court houseby Elvis_LComment by roz: excellent balance .. great in b&w ... absolutely love those reflections in the windows and doors, they lift this image up enormously and give more contrast .. great detail .. :) |

Day 13:court houseby Elvis_LComment by Bruce_the_Robert: Another really good conversion, capturing excellent tones in the stone. Brings you really into the feel of being at this courthouse, and the lighting is excellent. I find the reflections in the glass a bit distracting, but I don't have any clue what you could do about them! |

Day 14:bankby Elvis_LComment by Bruce_the_Robert: Great subject, wonderful lines, excellent conversion with nice tones. I might have liked to have seen the bottom of the door, but as the lines lead the eye upward, I didn't even realize it wasn't there until the fourth or fifth look! Well captured and presented. |

Simply Redby Elvis_LComment by JawnyRico: Nicely composed. Maybe a slight CCW rotation would have helped IMO, but great choice of subject and shot non the less. |

Dirty Pathetic Loserby Elvis_LComment by SandyP: Wow, Elvis! This is amazing! And as you already realize: completely underrated. Your grungy processing is fanTASTIC, and this looks like a brilliant album cover!
I just don't get the voters sometimes.
